A journal gets more useful when you can return to a detail without rereading every entry. Ask Fond gives you a question-shaped way into your saved moments. Ask about a place, a conversation, or something you recorded about a person.

For example, imagine you saved: “Coffee with Emily at Café Lou. She got the job.” Later, you could ask, “What was the café Emily and I went to?” The useful answer is the name alongside a path back to that entry. This is a fictional example, not a real customer journal.

How to use Ask Fond

1. Save the moment. Record or type an entry. Include the names and details you would like to find again.
2. Check your words. Correct a transcription if it misheard a name or place.
3. Ask about what you saved. Start with a concrete question. Add a person or time period if the first answer is too broad.
4. Open the linked notes. Use the original entry to verify the answer, especially when the detail matters.

These prompts are starting points. Results depend on the entries available in your journal and the details they contain. An unanswered question is a reason to check your notes, not evidence that an event never happened.

Ask, search, or browse?

Use search when you remember a word or name. Use Ask when you have a question about the saved material. Use people and places when you want to explore connected moments without a specific question.

Ask Fond cannot recover something you never recorded. Generated answers can be mistaken or incomplete, and a linked note may need closer reading. Your original words remain the reference.
