Start with a moment, not a database

4. Browse connected entries or ask a specific question about your saved journal.

The connections come from what you actually record. Fond does not need you to turn every conversation into a complete profile. A small, accurate entry is more useful than a long one you never want to write.

Opening connected entries is useful when you want to revisit a friendship, a familiar place, or a series of ordinary days. Ask Fond is useful when you have a question, such as which café you mentioned.

AI can confuse names or connections. Check the original entry when something seems wrong, and edit a transcription if it misheard what you said. Connections are a way to navigate your journal, not independent facts about another person.

Keep the focus on your experience

You choose what to record. Write the details you are comfortable keeping and having processed for Fond’s AI features. Fond is not end-to-end encrypted; the privacy policy explains the processors involved.
