Fond features / Chapters
Some stories take more than one entry.
Chapters can bring related Fond entries into a longer narrative as your journal grows. They need enough suitable saved content, so a new account may not have a chapter yet.

Moments that belong together
A new beginning
The first day.
The people you met.
The day it felt familiar.

Give separate moments room to connect
A single entry captures a day. Several entries may hold the shape of a change: settling into a new place, returning to a hobby, or finding your feet in a new role. Chapters offer a longer reading of related material from your journal.
You do not need to write a finished story in advance. Start with what happened today, keep the details that matter, and let your journal accumulate over time. A chapter is another way to revisit that material, not a task you must complete.
How to begin
- Save real moments by speaking or typing.
- Include enough context to understand each entry later: the people, place, and what happened.
- Return as your journal grows and explore Chapters when they are available.
- Check the original entries when a generated interpretation does not match your recollection.
When will a chapter appear?
There is no promised number of days or first-entry reward. Availability depends on enough suitable journal content. An empty Chapters view is not a reason to manufacture experiences or repeat notes.
In the meantime, you can read individual entries, browse people and places, or use Ask Fond for a specific detail. These are useful ways to return to a journal before it contains a longer story.
A narrative is an interpretation
Chapters use AI and can miss context or put the wrong emphasis on a moment. Read them alongside your own memory and source entries. They are not psychological assessments, diagnoses, or evidence of a personal trend.
If you prefer to shape the reflection yourself, try a weekly review: choose one entry to revisit, notice what still matters, and write what you want to remember now.
